Ebb and Flow Ltd design and build reed bed and sewage pond systems for dwellings of up to x number people
Ebb & Flow started designing and building household sewage systems in 1994. Our aim was to clean household sewage and then integrate it with the local ecosystem, using reed bed and sewage pond systems that are often supported by Flowforms.
Flowform Cascades and Radial Flowforms introduce rhythmic movement into a sewage pond. This enhances oxygenation in support of aerobic life processes and microbial action in the wastewater.
Ebb & Flow work all around the UK to provide small and large communities with these facilities, aiming to integrate people with the natural environment.
This large system is installed at the bottom of a field, managing all of the domestic and agricultural dirty water of a farmhouse and two cottages, enabling it to meet up with the spring water on site without any negative impact on the environment. In this situation, the farmyard runoff is also treated in the secondary pool, where the organic loading has already been reduced, and a greater diversity of marginal plants can be supported.
